Grant Parish Warrant Records Grant Parish Warrant Records

These terms set out what this website is, what you may do with it, and the limits that come with using it. Read them before you rely on anything here. By browsing these pages, you accept the terms below. They apply to every visitor and to every part of the site, including the outside search tools we link to, though those tools also carry their own separate terms. If any part of this agreement does not work for you, stop using the site and take your warrant question directly to the office that holds the record.

NO FCRA USE. This website is privately owned and operated. It has no affiliation with any local, state, or federal government body, court, or law enforcement office, and neither do our advertising partners. Nothing on this site is meant for credit checks, employment screening, insurance underwriting, tenant evaluation, or any other purpose covered by the Fair Credit Reporting Act (FCRA). We built it to help readers find Grant Parish and Louisiana warrant information. We are not a private investigation firm and we are not a consumer reporting agency.

1. What This Website Is

This is a private reference site. We operate on our own, with no ties to any government office, court, or sheriff. We do not keep official warrant records, and we cannot run a warrant check, recall a warrant, post bond, or file documents for anyone.

What we do is direct readers toward the offices that hold Grant Parish warrant information, including the 35th Judicial District Court, the Grant Parish Clerk of Court, and the Sheriff's Office, along with the justice and mayor's courts that handle lower-level cases, and connect them with outside tools that may help with their own research.

2. Informational Use Only

Everything on this site is general information. We explain how warrants and warrant records work in Grant Parish and across Louisiana, but nothing here takes the place of an official record check, an order from a court, or advice from an attorney. Records held by a public body are governed by the Louisiana Public Records Law, R.S. 44:31, and whether any particular document is open depends on that law and on the office that keeps it. Use this site as a starting point, then confirm anything that matters with the court that issued the warrant or the Sheriff's Office.

3. Not for Screening or Locating People

This site is meant to help a person check on and resolve a warrant, their own or a family member's, and to understand how the process works. It is not a tool for investigating other people. You agree that you will not use this site or any tool linked from it to:

  • Locate, monitor, track, or target any individual
  • Screen anyone for employment, housing, tenancy, or credit
  • Stalk, harass, intimidate, or threaten anyone
  • Make any decision covered by the FCRA (see below)

4. Rules for Using This Site

You agree that you will not:

  • Try to break into our systems or gain access you are not supposed to have
  • Break any federal, state, or local law while using this site
  • Do anything that slows the site down or blocks other people from using it
  • Run bots, scrapers, or automated tools against our pages

5. We Are Not a Consumer Reporting Agency

We are not a consumer reporting agency under the FCRA. We do not produce background checks, credit reports, or consumer reports of any kind. Neither we nor our advertising partners offer services built for screening job applicants, reviewing rental applications, setting insurance rates, or judging creditworthiness. You agree not to use data from this site or from any linked tool to:

  • Judge creditworthiness or set insurance premiums
  • Decide whether to hire or fire someone
  • Screen potential renters or housing applicants
  • Determine who qualifies for licenses, permits, or government programs
  • Do anything else that falls under FCRA rules

If you need a background check for any of those purposes, use an FCRA-compliant screening company.

6. No Legal Advice

Nothing on this site is legal advice. We describe how warrants generally work in Grant Parish, but we cannot tell you how a warrant, charge, bond, or court date applies to your situation. For that, talk to a licensed Louisiana attorney. The 35th Judicial District Court makes the same point on its legal assistance page: court staff cannot advise you, and filings belong with the Clerk of Court.

7. Accuracy Is Not Guaranteed

Everything on this site is provided "as is." We do not guarantee that:

  • The site will stay up and running without interruptions
  • The information here is accurate, complete, or current at any given moment
  • Our pages are free of errors, bugs, or security holes
  • Results from our partner search tools will be thorough or accurate

Warrants are issued, served, and recalled constantly. Under current Louisiana law, a warrant stays in effect until it is executed or recalled, so a status can change from one day to the next, and an online list may lag behind the file. Nothing here should be treated as an official statement from a court or a sheriff. Verify a warrant's status with the court that issued it or with the Sheriff's Office before you rely on it.

8. Third-Party Services and Links

We link to court pages, the Sheriff's Office, Louisiana statutes, legal aid organizations, and outside search services throughout this site. Clicking one of those links moves you off this platform and onto one we do not control. We are not responsible for their content, how they handle data, what they charge, or whether they stay online. Check their terms before you use them.

9. Intellectual Property

All text, graphics, logos, and code on this site belong to Grant Parish Warrant Records or to our content partners. You may not copy, distribute, modify, or build on our content without written permission first.

10. Limits on Our Liability

To the fullest extent the law allows, we are not liable for damages that come from using this site, including decisions made based on information found here or through any service we link to.

11. Indemnification

You agree to hold us harmless from any claim, legal action, or demand that stems from how you used this site or from breaking these terms. That includes covering our legal fees and related costs.

12. Governing Law

These terms are governed by the laws of the State of Louisiana. Any legal dispute connected to your use of this site must be filed in a court located in Louisiana.

13. Changes to These Terms

We can update these terms whenever we need to. New terms take effect as soon as they appear on this page.

Frequently Asked Questions

Can you tell me if I have a warrant?

No. We are a private reference site with no access to any warrant system. You can run a warrant search yourself or contact the Grant Parish Sheriff's Office.

Can you recall or clear a warrant for me?

No. Only the court that issued the warrant can recall or clear it. Talk to an attorney and the issuing court.

Is a warrant listing on a linked tool official?

No. Warrant data on outside tools may be incomplete or out of date. The official status comes from the court that issued the warrant or from the Sheriff's Office.
